New group in Ashton

Wow what an incredible evening with some awesome Infinite Women at the new group in Ashton, Preston at the home of the lovely Julie Lightfoot ......thank you for being such a warm and welcoming hostess.

Alex Scurr was our Guest Speaker on Aromatherapy and shared some wonderful insights into how some midwifery units are skilling up their midwives to become qualified Aromatherapists to help the pregnancy and birthing experience be a much calmer and less stressful experience with the use of essential oils.

She also reminded us that caution should be used as many essential oils can have contraindications and some should not be used in early pregnancy, or when using certain medications like blood pressure tablets and always best to check with a qualified aromatherapist to be on the safe side.

We really did learn so very much.
